Washing the Cover:

• Unzip prior to wash & dry
• Machine wash cold, alone, with detergent
• To refresh, add ½ cup baking soda to wash
• Tumble dry low thoroughly on low heat setting
• Do NOT hang dry

Washing the core:

• Hand rinse cold (in shower or tub)
• Use mild detergent
• Shake then air or fan dry
• Avoid heat or direct sun
• Spot clean as needed

Watch assembly video

• Cover and core ship separately. Ensure receipt of both boxes.
• Unroll cover (arrives unzipped as top and bottom layers) and set top cover aside
• Lift side walls of bottom cover into a box shape
• Fit all 3 core segments inside, making certain that all edges (especially the top edges) align flush against each other (no bumps or spaces in between)
• Place top cover over assembled bottom cover and core
• Zip closed, tucking front flap in between core and side walls

Will the Kids' Mattress fit my bed frame?

The mattress is designed to fit all traditional twin bed frames. It measures 38” x 75” x 5.5”.

Are there flame retardants?

While many of our competitors use toxic chemical fire retardants, we do not. Instead, we use a layer of viscose material sewn into our cover. Viscose material is made from reconstituted wood pulp and is chemical free. We quilt this material into our mattress covers for a safer, non-toxic solution.

Is the mattress comfortable for my child?

Can I lay on this with my child?

We know how bedtime can be during the toddler and preschool years (“Just one more book?”). That said, this mattress is specifically designed for kids up to 100lbs. We don’t recommend that adults sleep on the mattress as it could impact the integrity of our patented Wovenaire® core. So snuggling together on the kids' mattress for one more book at bedtime is fine, however, a longer duration of sleeping on it is not recommended for parents.

What sheets should I use?

We recommend using a cotton sheet for the most comfortable and breathable sleep for your child. Because our mattress is 5.5" thick, it's best to find sheets with an 8" pocket to fit snuggly on the mattress.
