  • Zip fully closed prior to wash and dry. Machine wash cold with detergent. Tumble dry low.
  • WASHING THE CORE
  • Hand rinse cold (in shower or tub). Use mild detergent. Shake then air or fan dry. Avoid heat or direct sun.

Bassinet Outer Fabric

  • Unzip fabric bassinet to remove from frame. Remove top rail bar from side panel. Machine wash cold on gentle cycle. Tumble dry low.

  • Wash with warm water and mild soap only.
  • Avoid harsh cleaning chemicals on the wood finish.

Bassinet & Bedside Sleeper

Why are multiple height settings important for bedside sleeper mode?

While multiple height settings can make it easier for parents of different heights and reaches to access the baby, the height settings are designed to ensure proper height setting in relation to the parents' bed height. It’s important that the top of the side support on the access side align with the top of the adult mattress.

How do I use the bassinet in a bedside sleeper mode?

Safety straps are provided to secure the bedside sleeper position next to your bed frame. These straps are placed under the mattress and over the bed frame or box spring for safety purposes. The panel has a hidden zipper that allows for the front bar releases to be exposed for removal and the front panel to fold down. Please note: In Bedside Sleeper mode, this item is designed for use only with adult beds that are between 19.5 and 25 inches from the floor to the top of the mattress. For safety when using in bedside mode, it is important to ensure that the provided straps are used to secure the sleeper next to your bed. Also, be certain to ensure that the base of the Bedside sleeper is lower than the top of your mattress.


Will this bassinet work with the height of my bed?

Our bassinet is designed to fit most bed heights. In bedside sleeper mode, the recommended range is 19½ inches - 25 inches. If your bed is taller than this range, rest assured that our bassinet is still safe to use — your baby will simply be situated a bit lower. Alternatively, it can always be used as a standalone bassinet (no matter your bed height). As a reminder, always be sure follow to follow the complete instructions for assembly and use.

Is the Infant Access Panel breathable?


Like all Newton products, our Bassinet & Bedside Sleeper is designed with safety, comfort, and peace of mind in mind. The infant access panel uses the same ultra-breathable material found in our mattress covers, chosen to support airflow and create a safe, comfortable sleep space—even if baby snuggles to one side.
