A: The bassinet is designed for newborns up to about 6 months or 20 lb, or until your baby can push up on hands and knees.

Q: When should I transition from the Bassinet to the Crib Mattress?

A: Most families transition around 4–6 months, or once baby outgrows the bassinet’s size or weight limits. The Original Crib Mattress fits all standard U.S. cribs.

Q: Are both products washable?

A: Yes! The bassinet fabrics and mattress are machine washable, and the crib mattress is washable from cover to core for easy cleanups and peace of mind.

Q: Are the materials safe for my baby?

A: Absolutely. Both items are made without foam, glue, latex, or harmful chemicals, and are GREENGUARD Gold Certified for low chemical emissions.

Q: Do the items ship together?

A: To ensure safe delivery, the bassinet and crib mattress ship in separate boxes, each arriving right to your doorstep.

Q: Is a waterproof pad or extra cover needed for the Crib Mattress?

A: No extra waterproof pad or cover is required. However, we recommend purchasing an extra cover for those occasional nighttime messes. A waterproof pad can also be especially helpful during the potty-training years. It fits like a fitted sheet and is easy to remove, making it convenient for travel or daycare use.
