Q: How long can my baby use the Bassinet & Bedside Sleeper?

A: The bassinet is designed for newborns up to about 6 months or 20 lb, or until your baby can push up on hands and knees.

Q: When should I transition from the Bassinet to the Crib Mattress?

A: Most families transition around 4–6 months, or once baby outgrows the bassinet’s size or weight limits. The Waterproof Crib Mattress fits all standard U.S. cribs.

Q: How does the bassinet become a bedside sleeper?

A: Safety straps are provided to secure the bedside sleeper position next to your bed frame. These straps are placed under the mattress and over the bed frame or box spring for safety purposes. The panel has a hidden zipper that allows for the front bar releases to be exposed for removal and the front panel to fold down. Please note: In Bedside Sleeper mode, this item is designed for use only with adult beds that are between 19.5 and 25 inches from the floor to the top of the mattress. For safety when using in bedside mode, it is important to ensure that the provided straps are used to secure the sleeper next to your bed. Also, be certain to ensure that the base of the Bedside sleeper is lower than the top of your mattress.
