  • Can this make any mini crib mattress breathable?

In an independent study conducted in a CPSC-accredited laboratory, Newton dramatically reduced suffocation risk when used with a traditional crib mattress. This means Newton adds airflow to any crib mattress. Great to have when traveling or at care givers' homes that may not have a Newton mattress.

  • Why can this not be used for a travel crib or play yard? 

We designed our Mini Crib Mattress Pad to fit snugly and safely on mini crib mattresses only. Play yards and travel cribs have different dimensions and safety standards—and using a pad that’s not made specifically for them could create gaps or bunching. That means less safety and less peace of mind. Always use only products that are made to fit your gear exactly!

  • Should I get a Waterproof Mattress Pad or an Extra Cover? 

Honestly? Get both.

An extra cover means you’re never stuck during late-night accidents or spit-ups. Just swap it out, wash the mess, and get everyone back to bed faster.
